New Federal Student Loan Changes Over COVID-19 With lectures and labs being suspended and online learning becoming the norm, physical therapy students have had to adjust to a new normal. But there is some potentially good news when it comes to students who have federal student loans.    Coronavirus: Resources and Information for APTA Members Official guidance and best practices change rapidly as the COVID-19 outbreak continues to evolve. APTA is curating critical advice from trusted sources such as the CDC and CMS.    Volunteer: Physical Therapy Support During COVID-19 Pandemic APTA is working with other members and organizations to match facilities who need physical therapist services with volunteers who are willing to serve.    APTA Wants To Hear From You About Your COVID-19 Experiences Are you on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic? Student Survey 2020 (Deadline April 18, 2020)

The APTA is asking all PT/PTA students to fill out both surveys below. It will take about 10 minutes or less to fill out both surveys. Thank you in advanced !

Student Indebtedness Survey Link

The purpose of this survey is to gain information about student indebtedness to prepare for a motion that is being brought forward by the Arizona delegation and Student Assembly at APTA House of Delegates this summer. If adopted, this motion (RC 26-20) would promote financial transparency of CAPTE accredited programs. For more information and specific motion language please refer to The Hub and  2020 APTA House of Delegates: Packet I. Impact of COVID-19 on PT Education Survey Link

The American Council of Academic Physical Therapy (ACAPT) has been involved with global PT organizations to gather information about the impact of COVID-19 on entry level PT education. The information gathered from the survey would help them collectively identify shared challenges and alternatives implemented or being considered. The collective aim would be to promote contextualized solutions integrating different perspectives. Please respond by April 18th.
