Note From the Vice PresidentHi, everyone, I hope you have all been enjoying this year’s APTA Combined Sections Meeting. All of the content is being recorded and will be accessible through the end of March. The APTA Student Assembly General Membership Meeting will be held via Zoom on Feb. 26 at 7:30 p.m. ET and is open to all APTA student members. While we can’t gather in person at APTA CSM this year, we can still get together over Zoom to discuss what is going on in the Student Assembly, network, and have a great time! Core Ambassador applications for the spring cycle will be opening soon! If your term ends this semester, now is a great time to start reaching out to students who would be interested in getting involved and becoming your state’s next Core Ambassador. Be sure to share this opportunity with your student networks, and direct students to apply on APTA Engage. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions about applications. Have you hosted an awesome event, started an initiative, or gone above and beyond to serve your students? Send me an email. I want to highlight all of the extraordinary things Core Ambassadors are doing to serve the Student Assembly. If you know a Core Ambassador who is making a positive impact on your state (can even be yourself.), let me know so I can give them a shout-out in our monthly newsletters. As always, please reach out to me anytime if you have questions or need additional support. |
